Bava Family Grove is located in Escalon, California, between San Francisco and Yosemite. The one acre olive grove flourishes with a variety of 60 Mediterranean olive trees: Frantoio, Pendolino, Leccino, Arbequina, Coratina, Maurino, Arbosana, Koroneiki, Mission, Lucca, Grappolo, and Moriolo. The olive trees are cared for by sustainable growing methods with no chemical fertilizer or pesticides. The olives are hand harvested and cold pressed on the same day. Each bottle is hand filled, sealed, and labeled per order. Bava Family Grove olive oil is unfiltered and delicate, with a mild green olive aroma and smooth buttery flavor. It will enhance any meal whether used in cooking, salads, or dipping. Availability of this unique small batch oil is limited. Once sold out, the oil will not be available until next harvest season: December 2011.
